The Beatles were basically hippie gods. Yes, they were part of the popularization of Rock and good stuff; but hippies, no, I don’t like hippies. I really think the Senate would be a much better place if all the hippies would just OD (or retire) instead of passing on their hippie heritage of sticking it to the Man and extreme individualism. Sometimes the Man needs stuck, sometimes ‘we’ are (negatively) oppressive of people, but I find it really funny that those two things are still constants after forty years of die-hard revolution.
Basically, hippies don’t come with brakes, thus they aggravate me. (Middle-of-the-road does not seem to describe hippies.)

The Beatles are the greatest of all time. They have influenced just about anyone/everyone in music since the 60’s. Wantng to meet Sir George would have been the coolest, next to Sir Paul. But I guess the next best thing for you loving guitar would be Clapton or Jeff Lynne.
